CONFLUENCES MUSEUM

Visual Identity Design and Development for the Musée des Confluences, Lyon. For this project, we developed a visual identity inspired by the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers, the museum’s distinctive architecture, and the diversity of its content, spanning science, history, culture, and society.

The graphic concept was based on the interaction of two contrasting visual elements, symbolizing the meeting point and dialogue between different fields of knowledge. Combining typography, graphic forms, and collection imagery, the visual system was designed to adapt to a wide range of applications while maintaining a strong and recognizable identity.

The project included the design of posters, brochures, exhibition catalogues, communication materials, and signage for both permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as visual communication for the museum’s inauguration.
